Zeastar Sashimi Tuna Delight: A Plant-Based Sushi

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g Zeastar Sashimi Tuna
  • 1 cup sushi rice 
  •  2 tbsp rice vinegar 
  •  1 tbsp sugar 
  •  ½ tsp salt 
  •  Soy sauce (for serving) 
  •  Wasabi (for serving) 
  •  Pickled ginger (for serving) 
  •  Thinly sliced cucumber, avocado, and radish for garnish

Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
Once cooked, gently fold in a mixture of 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar, and ½ tsp salt. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Slice the Zeastar Sashimi Tuna:

Remove the Zeastar Sashimi Tuna from the packaging and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
Using a sharp knife, slice the sashimi into ¼ inch thick pieces. For the best texture, slice against the grain.


Assemble the Dish:

Wet your hands to prevent sticking and grab a small amount of sushi rice. Form it into a small, oblong shape.
Place a slice of the Zeastar Sashimi Tuna on top of the rice. Gently press it to adhere.
Repeat with the remaining rice and sashimi slices.
